The budget for 2026 - 2027 was agreed by the Parish Council at its meeting on 14th January 2026. This budget includes monies for works to trees on Parish Council land and monies which have been allowed to cover the costs (yet to be determined) of services devolved from Somerset Council to the Parish Council which include dealing with potholes and other minor highway works which Somerset will no longer undertake. The Parish Council has also had to allow for the cost of emptying litter and dog bins now being charged by Somerset from 1st April. The annual cost for weekly collections is around £2500, the council has opted for mostly two weekly collections allowing £1700.

The precept for 2025 - 2026 was agreed at £27,500, an increase of 3.8%
